Routine Checkups and Screenings

Due to the fact that dogs age faster than humans, exams twice a year are very important. This allows our doctors to do thorough exams twice a year with the intent to catch problems sooner. Annual bloodwork is important as it allows our doctors to evaluate liver and kidney function and watch for any changes to occur.

Parasites

Through routine screenings such as fecal flotation and heartworm tests, our doctors are able to ensure that your pet remains parasite free. Both dogs and cats can become infected with a number of different parasites. A few of these can be transmitted to humans. Due to these reasons, parasite prevention and control is important. Nutrition and Exercise

Just as in humans, a healthy diet and exercise program can help prolong lives. With so many options of pet foods on the market, our team will help guide you in finding the best diet for your pet. We will also help you to determine how much food your pet should be eating on a daily basis. Keeping your pet within a healthy weight range will help with joint health, mobility, and overall quality of life.

Vaccinations

There are many diseases that are life threatening to your pet. With advancements in medicine, we have vaccines to help prevent many of them.
